Welcome to the Campgrounds RPG!
Affectionately titled the Camp Game, it is a collaborative semi-real-time ongoing game built directly into the Astral Campgrounds. Our local bot, Campfire, conducts the RPG via Discord and The Lodge.
Engagement is entirely optional, but everyone is encouraged to check it out because the more players, the better!
The first time you log in to The Lodge your account will be automatically be enrolled into the game.
If an external web app is not your speed, enroll yourself manually by using the /game join command in Discord!
Be sure you to tune into the #camp-game channel in Discord. That is where most discussion about the game takes place.
Buy them! Collect them! Trade them! Sell them for Vibe Conduits to finance your next foray into a Skill!
Gilroy's Shop is open for business! Stop in and trade Vibe Conduits for any number of regularly rotated items up for sale.
Access your Inventory through The Lodge.
From your inventory screen, you can Use/Sell/Transfer/View Details on your current loot.
In Discord, you can use the /game inventory command to view items. However, you must log in to The Lodge to engage with all item functions.
Celebration events such as Stellarvibe provide an opportunity for random item drops in the Discord server just for chatting!
When you get item drops, Campfire will react to your message with an emoji.
Roll for your daily omen with the /portent command and get a random item! Check out Portent for more details.
Vibe Conduits are the currency used in the Camp Game. They can be used to purchase items from the Camp Store in the Lodge, or you can send them to other players to trade for other items.
Vibe Conduits will continue to have many uses as the general purpose currency in the game as the game continues to grow.
A great first thing to do with Vibe Conduits would be to purchase Seeds and Silkwater to do Botany!
Camp Game currently boasts 2 skills to work on. More are planned for the future, so stay tuned.
The concept is simple: plant seeds, water them until they're grown, and harvest them for loot! There's a bunch of different plants to discover that grow at different speeds and drop different items.
The Botany Guide is a great place to have more questions answered about all things Botany. And of course, you can do all your planting and flower management directly in the Lodge.
Combine items from your inventory into wondrous Concoctions! Each Concoction requires a list of ingredients and brews for a number of turns.
