Botany is a good way to make conduits in the Astral Realm. You can grow multitudes of plants as long as your conduits can handle the water demands.
To start, you only need two things: Silkwater and a Seed.
The life force of all botanicals in the Astral Realm. Quantities can be purchased from Beeatrice in the Botany Fields
tab of The Lodge at a rate of 30 VC for 50 Silkwater, or 300 VC for 300 Silkwater.
Gillroy's Shop will occasionally have Silkwater Jugs or Barrels available for sale at varying prices, which are items that must be used from your Inventory to add its quantity to your Silkwater Reserves.
Many bizarre and exotic seeds can be found in the Astral Realm. Fortunately, the merchant Gillroy has a steady supply of seeds available in the Gillroy's Shop
tab. Supply and prices change daily, so check for new varieties regularly.
Seeds can also be acquired as random drops from your Daily Portent.
Trading with your fellow Camper's is also a great idea! You can often find available offers or make inquiries in the #camp-game
Discord channel.
Every Camper has 10 Seed Plots available to Sow Seeds into. 1 plant occupies 1 Seed Plot.
The Botany Fields
tab will display a list of seeds available from your Inventory.
Clicking/tapping on "Details" will display crucial information about the plant, how long it takes to grow, how much Silkwater it consumes every Turn.
Clicking/tapping on "Sow" of any seed will spend 10 Silkwater to plant that seed. Depending on the variety of plant it grows, you will need to patiently wait the appropriate number of Turns until the plant is ready to be harvested. You can always check the Timeroot Tree
tab for how long the until the next Turn.
All plants will start with their Silkwater at a maximum of 100/100 displayed next to a Turn Countdown until the plant is Dry. At any time, you may add varying quantities of Silkwater to your plants so long as you have it available in your Reserves.
Just the same as farmers of our world, keen Botanists keep an eye on the horizon for weather changes and prepare accordingly to protect their crops.
Be sure to regularly check the Weather Forecast
tab. A good Silkwater rain could save your precious reserves for drier times, while Acid Rain may appear to sap your crops. Bear in mind, some plants respond only to Acid Rain as others thrive in heat or cold.
Use the /game status
command in Discord to check on Current Conditions. Forecasts can only be accessed through The Lodge.
The natural world of the Astral Realm can be as mysterious and cruel as our own.
If your plants do not have enough Silkwater to match their consumption rate as the Turn ticks over, it will go dry and die. There are no revival items. All that's left to do is Destroy the plant and try again.
Should your plant remain properly watered for the requisite number of Turns, it will no longer consume Silkwater patiently waiting to be Harvested.
Clicking/tapping the "Harvest" button will remove the plant from your Garden and add it directly to your Inventory where you can sell it for VCs, trade it, or perhaps even use it as a Chemistry Ingredient.

Hot weather doubles the water consumption of Wandering Ice.
Cold weather doubles the water consumption of Dragonleaf.
Adds an additional 20 Silkwater to all currently growing plants.
Removes 10% from all growing plants' hydration levels.
Can be prevented by using a Crackling Rainmeter if visible in /game status

This is a calculation of the minimum number of Vibe Conduits that will be earned upon sucessful harvest and sale of whatever items are given by the plant, subtracting the cost of silkwater it would cost to grow.
For example, a Void Ivy's Real VC is 3.16. To calculate this, we use the lowest possible VC given, which is 74 (50 from harvest, 24 from flower). We then subtract the cost of the silkwater to grow the plant, which would be 36. (3 VC = 5 Silkwater; 60 silkwater = 36 VC). 74 (VC earned) - 36 (VC cost) would be a profit of 38 silkwater. Dividing 38 by 12 (the time to grow in hours), we get 3.16 Real VC per hour.
