As you are taking your mid morning / late evening (simultaneously) stroll through the Astral Realm, you notice a flurry of… something raining from above. What… are these…? Trading cards? It seems someone or some thing has published some trading cards and scattered them throughout the realm. Huh. I guess there's only one thing to do: collect them all!
¶ Introducing Trading Cards!
Starting this month, you'll be able to find Trading Cards as random drops by chatting in Discord! There are 8 different collectible trading cards in this first generation of cards: 4 common, 3 rare and 1 legendary foil card!
Each card features a bit of LORE, and using the card will give you an up-to-date tally of just how many of that card are in circulation, so you know just how special you are for holding it. Or, perhaps, to help you determine its value for trade 👀
And yes, this is the first gen. There will be more! Speaking of which…
¶ A Call to Artists
Every few months, a new generation of Astral Campgrounds Trading Cards will be released! A message to artists of the realm: your art is needed! Future generations of Trading Cards will feature art submitted by the community. Characters, locations, items and more can all end up as Trading Cards. More information on specifics here will be announced in the future as the second generation of cards is being prepared, but any and all Astral Campgrounds artwork can be featured, so don't hold back!

Expect another update in a few weeks around mid June which will bring some quality of life updates in the Lodge as well as someone new in the Campgrounds.
