The Grove Tender is a small Satyr, barely breaking five feet in height. Her voice expresses emotion perfectly fine, however her face remains a flat blank stare regardless, eliciting a strong uncanny valley reaction from many Campers. Despite this, She is kind and understanding of peoples apprehension, and given time everyone who has given her the chance has rapidly acclimated to her strangeness and grown rather fond. She also seems to wield an impressive authority within The Grove, appearing to fully command the Crows and their related phenomenon, and implies quite heavily that she is solely responsible for the upkeep and protection of this massive forest, leaving one to wonder what exactly her strength is.
The Grove Tender seems intimately aware of the Vibes within the Astral Realm, how Good and Bad Vibes function, and how to maximize the amount of Chill in an area, this may lead some campers to believe that the light bearing trees are her creation, although there is currently no evidence to support or rule out that claim. This awareness extends so far as to have a keen sense for Vibes, so much so that she was able to correctly identify an Orang for what they are, that being a living manifestation of Good Vibes.
you seem to be a living manifestation of the positive energies that make up the Astral Realm, in a strange sort of way, you ARE the Astral Realm experiencing itself
Despite the keenness of her eyes, you're not likely to see them as she spends most of her time wearing a strange mask that conceals her face. The purpose of the mask is unclear, it is also unclear if it contains any power of its own or is simply a decorative or ritualistic piece.
In conversation with Campers, The Grove Tender has revealed the existence of an entity that produces an overwhelming amount of bad vibes, as of now we know nothing more of this entity, only that the good vibes of The Grove are actually a conceited effort by The Grove Tender to counteract the negative energy caused by these bad vibes. Early theories suggest this energy may also be the cause of the phenomenon that gives The Silent Isle its name.
they have always been here, but sometimes the bad vibes falter, allowing us moments of reprieve, outside those moments, we must simply create enough good vibes to counteract it, but doing so is a difficult task
