Ingredients:

For Batter/dough:

1 Cup Cream

1 Cup lemonade (any brand is fine) [non-author note: assuming crystalized dry mix]

3 - 1/2 Cups self raising flour

For Topping:

Your choice of jam, whipped cream

Instructions:

Mix cream, lemonade, and flour in bowl until combined.

Put a generous amount of flour onto bench so the dough doesn’t stick.

Move dough onto bench and start kneading until smooth.

Shape dough into circles (I recommend using a glass so they are all the same size).

Place all scones into oven.

Get pastry brush.

Dip into cream and brush cream on top of the raw scones to stop from burning.

180C [350F] for around 30-40 minutes.

Let cool once golden.

Cut in half and top with jam and cream.
