Privacy is an absolute top priority in the Astral Campgrounds. Your data is yours, and what you do with your time online is your business.
This document will refer to “Admin Staff”. Currently, that is only Endeavorance. You will receive ample notice via Discord announcements before any new human is added to the Admin Staff.
Your Data Is Yours
All data which you provide to the Astral Campgrounds will not be used for any purposes beyond providing Campgrounds services.
Most data is stored in servers managed by Endeavorance on behalf of the Astral Campgrounds. This data is stored using a cloud hosting provider in servers located in the United States.

Tracking & Analytics
All Camp Services lack general purpose analytics. That said, there are a few things you should know about which may constitute “tracking” to some degree:
- Prose tracks page views anonymously
- Campfire Bot logs public command usage and public message history
- Campfire Bot saves records of
/ghostusage for moderation purposes. If your ghost message is looked up by a moderator, you will receive an automated notification. - Internal server logs may include IP addresses
Collected Data
At any time, you may request for your collected data to be purged. To do so, please reach out to a staff member on Discord using the @Camp Counselor role tag, or send an email to support@endeavorance.camp.
The following data will be permanently deleted from Astral Campgrounds servers within 1 week of your request:
- Chats, Posts, Vibe Checks, account connections, and profile information
- (If applicable) Your Astral.Camp Mastodon account and posts
- (If applicable) Your Prose account and posts
The following data will not be deleted automatically:
- Your chats in Discord
Data Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data, such as laws like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Astral Campgrounds will comply with such requests to the extent required by law.
Data Security
All data across the Astral Campgrounds is encrypted in transit and stored using industry standard security, including disk-level encryption where possible.
While security and privacy are top priorities, no system is perfectly secure. Use caution when sharing sensitive data. The Astral Campgrounds does not currently provide end-to-end zero-knowledge encryption.
Child Data Privacy Information
The Astral Campgrounds does not permit members under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 13.
Policy Updates
The Astral Campgrounds staff may update this privacy policy occasionally. Significant changes to the privacy policy will be announced on the Discord server and noted in this document.
